Have Faith

I want to thank everyone for giving me faith. My best friend took over my fund raiser, she enlisted her family and friends to help me raised the money. I have collected $1585.00 so far, I hope to exceed this amount by next week. Once again, thank you all so much.

Hello Katie,

Yes, isn't it great when family and friends are right there supporting you all the way!? Just because you are doing the actual walking doesn't mean you can't solicit help with your fundraising. We are ALL in this together....IN IT TO END IT!! I love hearing when some of my team members tell me that other family and friends are helping to get the word out. Because you just never know who has been touched by cancer and who may want to donate.

I met this really nice woman at the airport while on vacation last week. She works for Warner Brothers and promotes all their movies internationally. We got to talking about all sorts of things, including Sandra Bullock. :) She's planning on making a donation to my Avon Walk account and who knows...it may lead to more than just one donation.
