Hi Sabrina! I did my first walk this past April in Houston. I'm looking forward to doing the next walk in 2011. My first walk i was by myself, however this next time I was thinking of joining a team. Not sure how the team thing works. I know we still have the minimum to raise per person. I was bless to have surpassed my goal, twice. Was wondering what part of town you are located. I have not registered yet, but intend to soon.

Yes I meet you along the way. A team is the best way to go, I think. I walked most of the walk, this past April, by myself. I am not gonna do that again. LOL... We would love to have you on our team. Me, my husband, & son live in Santa Fe. We have a girl in Cypress on our team. We hope to branch out even more.
Hurry and get registered. They is a Intro Meeting coming up soon, if you want to get the discounted rate of $45.
Our Team is having a huge Car, Truck, Bike, & trade show on October 23, 2010, at Mall of the Mainland. We will also have several other Fundraisers planned.

Sorry so long for a reply:( We are pretty close together! I live in League City, toward Kemah. I have a step-daughter that lives in Santa Fe. I plan on doing a phone intro registration in Oct. They dont usually have intro meetings on this end of town, so phone is easiest. I am very interested in joining your team. I also have some fundraising ideas, if you haven't already planned them lol. I should be able to stop by the one at Mall of the Mainland. I would love to meet you!

Hi Sabrina! I should be able to make it out tomorrow. I would love to meet you! I have RSVP'd to a phone meeting on the 27th, then I will be registered:) I look forward to some "bigger" fundraising, though I have little experience in it. Being by myself for the last walk, most all of my donations were personal donations. It's a little harder to hold a fundraiser alone lol. Hope to see you soon!
