Met my goal in DC so now I can help you

I have met my goal for the DC walk and now wish to help those in my area that need donations to meet their committment.

I have one more fundraiser on Friday April 23 at the Village Wharf Restaurant in Alexandria, VA - a silent auction and games. So here is the deal. Anyone still needing to raise money to meet their $1,800 can help me with this event and I will help you with at least a $100 check towards your goal. All you have to do is let me know if you are interested in advance, show up and help guests register for the silent auction and then make sure those bidding have a number. That's it.

I'll do it!!!! I am doing the DC walk too and I am about $300.00 away :o) What time does it start? Just have to make sure I have a place for my kids to go but yeah I'm in!!!

Great!! Registration begins at 6:00pm with the silent auction starting at 6:30 - 8:30. Then we pick everything up and announce the winners at 8:45. You can bring your children but they can't be in the bar area when the band starts at 9. House rules not mine. Attire of the evening is "Pink"!!!

No, I don't know where it is...just email me the address. I have a lot of pink ribbon stuff to sell too, any chance I can sell some of it there? If not thats ok......I get a bit into this stuff too, I have a giant hot pink tiger striped top hat that I was going to wear at Event Eve to sell my stuff :o)

The Village Wharf Rest. is on Fort Hunt Rd. outside of Alex. down near Mount Vernon. And yes you can sell your pink stuff and wear your hat. However I want to help as many people reach their goal as I can so they don't have to bear the burdon. So if you are that close I think that you probably really don't need my help. Which is a good thing!!! Congrats it feels so good doesn't it???

Ehhh, I am that close with the $ made from your event, without it I am $160 away :o) But if I reach my goal I am giving whatever I make on top of it to people. But if you do find someone who needs help mare than I do then let them do it instead if not then I am there! Let me know, thanks a lot!

Oh Ok, if you need it then come on and bring your pink stuff to sell. Are you close to Mount Vernon or know where it is?

Sorry, I should have said your event would put me at $60 away. Thats after collecting some donations that people said they were giving but haven't yet.....but they are ones that I am sure will. But if anyone else does need it more I have no problem letting them do it instead. I think I am about 20 min from Mt. Vernon, I will mapquest it. Thanks!
