Need a walking partner

Hi guys, I'm Barbara and this is my first walk. I live in the Friendswood area and need a walking partner for those long Saturday walks. My daughter was going to do the walk with me but due to health problems, is forced to drop out. Any takers?

Hi there! My name is Meagan and I recently read your post. I was not sure if you found a walking buddy yet but I live in Texas City. Not quite friendswood however the drive is not too far. We can always meet in the middle. This will be my second yr this time and I recently joined a different team then last year. The women on my new team were on the Bp team last year and are stragglers caused to the rest of the team not walking this year. Let me know what you think. My email is missmeaganlynn@aol.com.

Glad to hear from someone in this area. What routes did you plan last year for the long walks? I'd love to meet with you to walk, I usually walk on Saturday although this week I need to do Sunday. Can you meet?

Well unfortunately I didnt walk in this area. Last year I was apart of a group of 13 women from Houston and surrounding areas. So I did my training in the downtown Houston area. haha. I would love to find some good places to train here !!!! Unfortunately I am pretty busy this wknd however, I am free next weekend. Would you like together then?

Hi Meagan, Sorry I didn't reply to you this weekend, I was a bit under the weather but am doing great now and ready to tackle the roads! We have 18 and 9 this weekend, I have to be someplace by noon Saturday so I'm doing the 9 then the 18 on Sunday. Wanna get together?

Can you tell me how the fundraising works? Does everyone on the team split the earnings?

It can work both ways. I decided whoever works each fundraiser will split the profits of the fundraiser they work. If I have 4 people on the team then we can have a team donation page set up which the online donations that go there will be split between everyone. Several ways to do it all. We just got to hussle. Only 37 days left...

Thanks for the invite. Sabrina! Sounds like your team is doing a great job on helping each other out. Although I would still love to walk with you, I have already joined a small but great group of women from Texas City. We should definitely get together soon and do a training walk. Let me know what you think! Also, where are you having the fajita dinner at?

Yes, I would love to try and get together and do a training walk. Someone should plan it out and submit one and do some training.
