Hi Dawn - Sorry Its been awhile since I've come back to this site. I know the Lasalle Peru area! I used to work for a plumbing manufacture and LaSalle/Peru was in my territory! Hopefully we can meet up and check off some miles together!

Hi Dawn, I'm originally from Streator and now live in the Northwest suburbs. You can walk with my friend Maria, our team name is Can Do. This will be my 6th walk and Maria's 2nd. My husband is also on the motorcycle crew.

Jo Ellen - You're a veteran! I bet it was an amazing experience. I'm really looking forward to it! Unfortunately, Hammond is a bit far from where I am (northwest of Chicago, in a little farm town called Marengo) for us to train together, but I would love to talk to you about the walk/training/fundraising! Are you on FB?

Hi Jo Ellen,
There is a training group in Tinley/Oak Forest area that is meeting every Sunday at 10 am. Don't know how far that is for you but I can give you more info. if your'e interested.

HEY EVERYONE!!!! I am SOOOO happy to say that I am registered to walk on June 5-6 and can't tell you what an honor it is to walk with everyone!! I am so excited about training/fundraising/meeting new people and most importantly helping the fight to end Breast Cancer! I have to say as much as this cancer is evil and tears apart families, it is bringing together a community and now more than ever, that is what we need. By the Grace of God, I have not been touched by Breast Cancer, but I am not here to fight for myself, I am here to fight for others.

Looking forward to the fight.
