TEAM NEWBIES FOR BOOBIES------BACK FOR MORE

If there are any of you out there who are solo or first-timers, know you do not have to be alone in this adventure. We were a team of first-timers of 21 created in NYC 2010. The team conisists of members from NY, NJ, CT, and PA.  Let me just say this is the best group of people I have met in a long time and would not have wanted to share this experience with anyone else than with them. Some members are breast cancer survivors,some(like myself) have lost loved ones to this disease, and others just wanted to be a part of such an important cause that effects almost every individual in some form or another. Some members will be walking in DC this year, but many will be walking again in NYC. It is also great because we have a member pretty much in every area of upstate NY, Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn,Long Island,North/Central/South New Jersey, and PA which is wonderful for training and like last year...I am sure we will plan to have a long team walk on the river walk in NYC. It is definitly a bonding experience, so do not be shy....because we are a diverse energetic group of different ages,personalities, cultures, and backgrounds and we are a true sisterhood. Hi Nikki -

I am walking in my second walk this year. Last year was Boston and this year will be NYC.

I am from CT - any CT people in your group ? I would love to meet someone to do some training walks with!

I am in Central CT. I live in Cromwell, but most places in CT arent too bad to get to, especially on the weekends

Liz.It looks like the one CT member decided to do another state this year, but I am sure we will have others join this year aroundy our area if you are still interested. We would love to have you. If you are interested, email me at e2752p@erac.com w/your participant number and I can have Kristin to add you to our team if you are still interested. It has been hectic so I appologize for not getting to you sooner. :O) I am usually very on top of things.

I do not know if my other response went through, so I am sorry if this is a duplicate. Our one CT member is walking in another state, but I am sure we will find others in your area to join. As you saw in my original post, we come from all over the place and even though some didnt have a team member by them, they found someone to train with and most of us stayed in a hotel in NYC EVENT eve and went out to dinner and all had tent mates with eachother. I really would love for you to join the team,,,so if you would like to please email me at  e2752p@erac.com with your participant number and I can reach out to my captain to get you goin'

Like Nikki said we are a diverse group of girls.  When we joined last year we were individuals, but by the end of our walk, we were sisters!  Looking forward to chatting with you!
