Walking group in my area....

Help....I live in the NH seacoast area. I'm doing the Boston walk and I'm looking for a group to join... walking and training. My first walk...

I live near the NH line. Doing the Boston walk for the 1st time. I am near Newburyport. Need some walking buds. We have a team but are not real close for group walks.

I'm interested in getting together for walks. Do you walk just on weekends?
For what reason are you supporting the Avon Breast Cancer Walk? I'm walking in memory of my mother who was diagnosed in 2004 with breast cancer. She died in 2008. I can't think of a better way to honor her.

I am a cancer survivor myself, having been treated all last year with my last of 3 surgeries only in August. I am still building up my stamina after 4 chemo treatments last summer. My husband was treated exactly one year before me, mastectomy as well as chemo, just like me. We are walking for ourselves and each other. I don't work so can walk whenever, however, I am not exactly sure how I will do with the long walks yet. So far I have been exercising at the gym and doing a few miles on treadmill. Let me know if anyone wants to walk short walks to start, building up each week. I think I could manage 3 miles at the moment.

I'm game to walk where ever. I just went on a great walk with my family today down at the Parker River Wildlife Refuge on Plumb Island, was great has stairs to make up for hills was great with a long walk! I go there a lot.
