The jist of it is this: I am a stylist for Stella & Dot, a boutique line of jewelry sold only through independent stylists (like me). We're the darling of the fashion world and seen almost monthly in all the fashion magazines from Lucky to InStyle and more. Not to mention, we're also written up in the WSJ, Forbes and Inc Magazine. I go to women's houses and bring a trunk full of jewels and we play adult dress up. (: I show people fun ways to use accessories to help update their wardrobe. No high pressure sales. Very simple and casual. No presentation or big sales pitch. A few bottles of wine, some pretzels and cookies and poof - a pop up shop in your living room.

For the fundraiser, I donate just over 60% of my commission to your fundraising effort and you get to keep the hostess rewards (typical hostess gets $250 in free jewelry). I will also donate 100% of my commission, but then I'll keep the hostess rewards. Your choice. We can do it either way. Sometimes people like to also use the free jewelry for another fundraising event and raffle off later or use in a silent auction.

The sample invite attached is based on a recent fundraiser I did for a walker. The hostess/walker who we did the fundraiser for earned $260 for her walk and $483 in free jewelry! She then purchased a gift for everyone who came with her hostess rewards. All that for two hours of socializing with her girlfriends.
