I am in it to end it!
My breast cancer journey started when I was diagnosed at age 44, on October 1, 2008, at the.
The first day of breast cancer awareness month. This began more than a year ago and I decided to do the Avon Walk so that I could help other women NOT go through the terrible experience I have gone through. I walk for Cathy, for Sungmi, for Judy and for Angela. We will survive!
My son's girlfriend walked with my name on her back, in 2 days of pouring rain, in the Washington D.C. Avon walk the spring that I was in chemo therapy. This year she silently signed up again. If a 19 year old girl can be that dedicated, I have to do it too! So together, she , my son and I will walk the 40 miles together but this year it will be in celebration of my completing treatment and being stronger and healthier than ever!
