I live in Fredericksburg and this is my first walk too!! My twin sister from Fl is going to do the walk with me. She's doing good with her training. Me on the other hand, with all the snow we've had has really slowed me down. My sister is here visiting for the weekend and we went to the mall here yesterday at 7:30a.m. and walked until 11:00a.m. and did just shy of 12 miles. I am a bit sore in a place or two today. Though I haven't done anything in almost 2wks. We are really looking forward to this walk and meeting people along the way. We have both just reached our $1800 goal. We did it in 3wks. Did you know you can do a Chick Fil A spriirt night? You get 10% of the sales for 3hrs. I did a bake sale in my work office building and raffled a cake and made $471 off the bake sale alone. My sister and I also sent out over 55 letters each to everyone we could think of. People were very generous. Let me know if yo'd like to go for a walk sometime.
