You need to do that as soon as you can . . . they fill up "first come, first served". Event Eve "jobs", I think, are VOLUNTEER not CREW. But I'd check that out for sure. GOOD LUCK!!

What crew do you plan to be on in SB?
We're asking for Quick Stops! Because of the Rocky Mtn. event being mostly on recreational trail a sweep van has very little access. We like to be in the middle of it! We walk when we can manage to raise the funds and commit to the training which is VERY time consuming.

I live on the Central Coast, an hour north of Santa Barbara but thanks for the offer. I haven't seen any training walks show up in my area yet. I have just been walking alone, I do enjoy it though! It is amazing to me how many people have done several of these walks! Hopefully I will become one of those people also!

I started my training just over 2 weeks ago, my hope is that by starting early it won't hurt when the "real" walk comes lol! I am really enjoying it, I have always loved walking but it has a whole new meaning now!
I am new to the page so I haven't really gotten to know anyone yet, I added everyone from California in hopes of meeting them in "real life" at the walk.
This is my first walk, how many have you done?
