Last week I took a big test but I did cram. Something tells me I can't cram for this.
I just made a copy of the suggested training schedule for the S.F. walk and it has been very challenging to walk my miles for the week (39 miles in 12 weeks). It has been pouring rain here in Sacramento and my better half has been putting in lots of hours so I am flying solo with the little kids. I was actually anxious about getting my 3 miles in yesterday .Fortunately the rain is clearing up and I can take my little ones for a walk/stroller ride but otherwise I go to the gym. When I go to the gym my 2 year has separation anxiety and cries and cries to the point where I have to return back to the child care center after 15 minutes of training. Bummers for him and me.
I have a treadmill but just put it back in the garage after 3 years of infrequent use in the house. Arghhh. So now I will get it out again.
I am really looking forward to meeting up with other Sacramento peeps and maybe a few of the S.F. girls at a 1/2 point to do some endurance training.
Well feeling good b/c I did get my 3 miles 'brisk' in today. I think the secret for me will be to do this early in the day.
